Waiting for the storm that never came...

Friday 30 May

Despite dire weather warnings on all the forecast apps, and a rainy night, Friday was just a rather damp squib of a day. The sun pushed through quite regularly, creating insipid rainbows through the rain & drizzle but overall it was just so so. There was snow on the mountains but I kept missing the moment when the clouds revealed this beauty.

Trip in to Te Anau, morning tea with Auntie Liz & Brendon, coffee at the Sandfly, bit of shopping then lunch back at Banjo. Chores kinda afternoon as the clouds hung out ll around us, then after Jeremy had had his second job interview we pulled on our posh gear and went out to dinner at The Church and the boys watched the rugby all evening while Abby and I chatted and giggled. Nice!
