Tuesday Chores Day

Tuesday 2 September

Busy day of chores - we headed over the bridge to sort out a few things. First stop was at Helen’s to get her to sign some papers, then over to the Fernandi to collect Ian’s car and have a cuppa with Nickie. We’d stored the car there while we were using his apartment and parking space. Our thank you was to get a WOF for it before returning it to the Quay West carpark. Huge queues at VTNZ in New Lynn so popped to the mall for lunch before trying again - still a long wait as systems were down and it was all being recorded manually 🙄 Set off for Kingsland VTNZ with fingers crossed and their queue was minimal so I took a stroll while waiting and discovered Bluebells Bakery nearby 😜

Parked the newly WOFed car back in Quay West and wrestled the car cover over it single-handedly - yay me!

Back to Beach Haven to discover we were too late to get to the bank & Summer had been “abandoned” - she is a needy diva! - so I had hugs and pats with her 🐕

Chilled, walked locally (Louis adding more kms daily) before dinner with Mairi & the kids 🥰
