Trading apartment luxury for the home comforts of Banjo

Monday 25 August

After a fortnight or so in cousin Ian’s wonderful apartment in Quay West, it was time to head back to Banjo. We packed up our surprisingly large number of belongings, borrowed a hotel gold trolley and shifted everything down to the Pajero.

First was a detour to the GP for Louis to get his surgery wound checked and his dressings removed and replaced. Great news was that his drain wound was all healed up and his surgical wound was proceeding nicely.

Second detour was to Takapuna for a lovely but chilly lunch in the sun, then a wee walk on the beach.

Back at Banjo we unpacked and settled back in - funnily enough the neighbours had a Morgan Project Management car parked outside - it would be funny if it belonged to Lee who is managing the insurance project at our house in BHB - will have to see if we can spot him coming out of the house or driving off or home in it!

It was so lovely to see our hosts the Orrs again and we had snuggles with Summer then Tim brought Dilligas out to visit us which was cute until we found he’d had a wee under the table! Great welcome, pusskin! 🐈‍⬛
