The Morning After the Night Before...

Well, the whole day TBH - it was a slow start to 2025!

It was a bit grey and we were all a somewhat cream crackered. We moved Banjo out of the barn and Louis spent much of the day hosing water all over her roof to see if any of it went in… so far so good!

It was a good excuse to reset our location as Nick and the vineyard manager Garry had advised that the vine trimmer and mower would be showing up soon into the New Year and we had been camped in their turning circle at the end of the vines. Garry has been an absolute star, he approved our move into the barn and also brought along his ladder so that Louis and Jeremy could get up high enough to see what was going on with Banjo's leaky roof. We bought him a box of coronas to say thanks, and I reported a vine irrigation leakage to help out in return!

Every time I looked out of the kitchen window there was a strange man up a ladder watering my caravan and detracting from the lovely vineyard views!

Took a couple of walks in the afternoon including taking Harley to the dog park; Louis cycled as his heel was still sore, and his front mudguard fell right off - bugger!

We ate leftovers and generally chilled. Easy start to 2025 ☺️
