Operation Day minus One

Thursday 7 August

Due to a key-tastrophy Mairi had no way to get Lily to school so Louis took them and I looked after Finn for half an hour - racing cars up Banjo’s narrow flooring and catching drips from the leaky gutter outside seemed to do the trick!

Then it was time for last cuddles with Dilligas and fond farewells with Mairi, Finn & Banjo before we drove our fully loaded Pajero into town, borrowed a bellhop trolley and got all our belongings for 2 weeks settled into Ian’s apartment (2106 Quay West Suites if anyone wants to drop by for a visit)

Popped over to Henderson so Louis could have a last swim with his squad before taking a month or so off, and i had a wander around one of my old stomping grounds. Louis came back feeling positive as one of his swim squad had the same op last Christmas and has been pain free since ❤️‍🩹

Chilled until dinner time then met Abby, Jez & Russ for a delicious and fun evening at White&Wongs in the Viaduct. Always good times with these guys!!
