Nice Day for a White Wedding

Saturday 19 April
I’d love to say that the day dawned bright and sunny for the wedding - but sadly the tail end of Cyclone Tam was still dilly dallying about.
We popped into Bayfair to get a manicure (Amy & me), a prewedding snack and a GoPro tripod then back to the AirBnB to get ready for the big event.
We arrived a little early to tie the ribbons to the aisle chairs and set up the GoPros and fortunately the weather decided to join the party - the clouds did not clear but the rain did and so we enjoyed the ceremony outdoors which was lovely.
Esther & Rebman looked gorgeous, as did their bridal party & groomsmen. Amy walked Mia down the aisle, Shannon delivered a beautiful service and niece Zoe was picked by chance to be one of the witnesses. 🥰
The champagne tower was a winner, the canapés were delicious and I had a wonderful time catching photos of the guests on my canon camera.
Reception dinner was awesome - the groomsmen and bridesmaids came in with choreographed dance moves and then Esther arrived on a penny board, wearing sunnies and swigging champagne from the bottle, being steered around by Reb - while everyone sang along to their entrance song 🎶
Altogether a wonderful afternoon and evening of love, warmth and joy - with great food, hours of dancing and so much catching up with friends of all ages. The Lynfield College gang produced some awesome adults - we are lucky to have watched them grow up & blossom into such cool humans 🥰 I wonder who will be the next down the aisle - Yong may have caught the bouquet… but there are a few other contenders.
