Low Key Day - Walking & Playing cards

Monday 22 September

Spring showers were pretty relentless so it was a low key kinda day. Abby worked in the Moho and Louis, Jez & I pottered around doing chores & admin.

We did pop over to Waipapa to get a few van things and just entertain ourselves wandering through so stores... I was shocked to find advent calendars in the Warehouse already! They didn't look super tasty so I did not get one for my lovely Goddaughter Lucy... it definitely wasn't vegan anyway!

About 4ish we were all stir crazy so three of us decided to brave the wet & visit the pā and walk the other end of the Wairoa Stream walkway to Te Wairere falls and back. Amazingly it did not rain on us and we actually got hot & sweaty!

Meanwhile Abby had cooked us a delicious dinner with lemon chicken and a fab quinoa salad 🥗 Finished the evening with a riotous game of Flip7 which even Jez seems to like!
