Laundry, Lurgy & The Nukes

The winterless North failed us for a day… sunshine gave way to grey skies, cloud, rain & wind. Sadly Louis was feeling as crook as the weather with a nasty cough & sore throat. So after some blogging catch up I popped into town to do some laundry and food shopping.

Lunch in Banjo, a spot of admin, a siesta and eventually the sun snuck through the clouds so we went exploring along the inlet, past Vivienne & Ivan’s not-so-new place and on to Opito Bay where there were signs about keeping your distance from sea mammals - but sadly none to be seen!

Dinner in Banjo and then I whizzed into town to see The Nukes on their Road Trip in Song tour - reuniting Dave, Ben & Snapper and joined still by young JP. Great evening and I loved “Each to their own” which is more relevant now than ever before!
