A low key kinda recovery day to start the week - after a lovely walk out along Queen's Wharf in the sunshine, Louis and I hung out at the apartment for a while.

I went shopping for Helen as she is largely transportless since the recent hospitalisation. Then scooped her up to bring into town to see Louis. Sadly he was struggling with pain and exhaustion so not the best mother & son reunion.

We swung by Auckland Hospital on the way back to visit Uncle Don who was whizzed in last week with congestive heart failure. He’s still ticking along, but getting a little frailer with every passing week & month. Hopefully he will be home soon and Jean will have some support to cope with his day to day life.

After dinner Louis and I went for a 5 minute stroll out in the evening sunshine - his first escape from the apartment - then I spent the evening doing one of Amy’s jigsaws while Louis watched Bosch on Sara & Michael’s recommendation.
