Friends and Family time!

Once again the weather apps were a bit over optimistic with their temperatures - the sun rose over a very frosty landscape and once again we were delighted to be on power with our little electric fan heater!

Decided we needed a warm breakfast so cooked up creamy thyme mushrooms on toast ( Pak'n'save had mushrooms at 1985 prices - $4.95 per kg so if bought heaps!)

Mid morning we set off across town to Cashmere hills to catch up with Matt & Emma (Matt & Louis studied music in Wellington in a previous millennium). So much to chat about, that we stayed for lunch too!

Louis had a swim in the afternoon and I bought dinner to cook at Ella & Josh’s then we headed to Woodend for burgers & chips and card games, and hoodlum hounds hugs! 🖤
