Friday Flight Day

Friday 10 January

Pottered about on the camp ground and in town much of the morning - food, bike accessories & op shopping - while waiting for our next set of guests to start arriving.

Caroline landed in Christchurch around lunch time and caught up with Ella then Amy arrived in Nelson early afternoon.

We hung out until the evening when Linus’ Nelson flight arrived and had a lovely reunion.

Weather was not playing its part so we dropped off her bags at her adorable AirBnB (met Mitch the cat but not her landlord) then retired to Banjo to have platter dinner and teach her our new favourite card game.

Small panic at 10.10pm as Amy asked when the campsite curfew was (yikes - 10pm!) so we walked Linus home on the usually scenic route and Amy retired to her basic b1tch cabin. Mitch and his human, Graham, were both there to greet Linus and we all decided this was a great AirBnB choice!
