Double Dog Walkies

More quiet times in Kaiapoi - double dog walks & some op shopping on the menu.

Early morning walkies with Abby & Harley again, into Sovereign Palms estate, then I drove across to Woodend Beach to take the hoodlums for a walk with Ella. Took a video call from my sister Linus in London who was at the Royal Albert Hall with Judy G & Julie H to see Gary Barlow... joined in with the Flood and later Never Forget... it's a sisterly tradition! We also got to meet Minka the cat who was staying onsite with her owners Lainie & Ken - they had spent the last 2 decades on a yacht sailing around NZ and out to the Islands, and Minka had travelled with them for 6 years after they lost their original sailing pusskin!

As well as dog wrangling, I mean walking, I also managed to stuff a few more summer outfits into the suitcase to stay at Ella & Josh's and lighten our load in Banjo.

Louis had another studio session while Abby took a long lunch and we hit the opshops in Rangiora in search of warm woolly jumpers for her & Jez (still searching… ) Decent male clothing is like hen's teeth... I think the guys just wear everything to death so nothing makes it as far as the op shop!

Chill afternoon then roast chook for dinner in Banjo - sitting with my new interim opshop cushion covers! At least it wasn’t a wasted trip 😉
