Chores galore!

A pre-op chores day - we are borrowing Ian’s apartment in town for Louis’ first week or two of recovery so after a cruisy morning sorting things and doing admin in Banjo we dropped in a crate of foodstuffs and collected his car from the single allocated parking space and took it on a holiday to Russ’ driveway! The chooks were very pleased to see me, but less excited when I refused to feed them!

Back to Banjo via a fancy schmancy New World in Birkenhead then we repaid a small amount of the Orrs’ amazing hospitality by inviting Mairi for lunch in our wee home.

I had a massage at 2pm - literally only 9 minutes walk away - and spent a semi-relaxing hour and a bit having the knots smoothed out of my muscles by a lovely Zimbabwean trainee masseuse called Ty - just $60! Gotta love the NZ Hair & Beauty Models page on Facebook... also how I found lovely Jacob at Killer Hair two years ago!

Picked up my phone from there to find a message that Uncle Don was back in hospital so Amy, who’d just dropped off a patient in ED swung by to check how he was (ok but not great). Rarely a day without a health issue in the whānau these days 🥺

Spent the rest of the day packing stuff for our week or two in the apartment and had a few more Dilligas cuddles and time with our lovely hosts 🥰
