C'mon and join our Convoy

Time to head south again - spent the morning at Treehouse Retreat sorting ourselves out and finalising plans for the onward journey, after an emergency dash to the dump station… first time the full light flashed up on the toilet cassette 🙄

Fortunately the dump station was close to the bakery so we bought freshly baked croissants for breakfast 🥐

Time for lunch in the sun before we hit the road - a little later than planned.

The roads were surprisingly clear for a Friday afternoon and we’d soon left Ōtautahi Christchurch behind. A brief stop in Ashburton and after passing Temuka we took a left to Seadown to stay at the Old Seadown School POP.

Lovely sunset as we parked up then a chilly BBQ in the dark - lamb, yum!
