Early morning alarm - our level of the Quay West carpark was getting its annual spruce up, so I had to move the Pajero out by 7am. It was a stunning morning so I did not resent it too much!
Took advantage of my walk home from Downtown Carpark to get Louis a cheese scone from Lieutenant - still hot from the oven!
Started a new puzzle and did some blogging while Louis recovered on the sofa - yesterdays big sleep had thrown his night out like being jet lagged 🥺 Midmorning the lure of the sunshine was too great so I slung on my trainers and headed out to Westhaven along the marina boardwalk to the Harbour Bridge . Started off chilly in the shade but by the end of the boardwalk I was stripping off my South Island layers!!!
Treated Louis to a Shake Out burger from Commercial Bay for lunch (and two Vietnamese spring rolls for me to supplement my leftovers pasta) and then Jez popped over to check up on his bestie 😍

My afternoon was spent at Killer Hair trying to get my grey transition sorted - it’s not quite the Kristin Scott Thomas transformation I was thinking, but looks pretty damn cool - Jacob did a fab job as ever! TBF - aiming for KST vibes was always a tad ambitious - as Top Gear decreed, she is the most ultimate super cool thing on the Cool Wall!
Meanwhile Louis was sitting in the flat being serenaded by the fire alarm and wondering how the hell he was going to manage a 21 storey fire exit descent with his back, and our key belongings… but luckily after the fire engine arrived it was down graded - someone probably triggered the alarm by burning the toast!!!
After relocating the Pajero back to Quay West, i made bangers and mash for supper (being careful not to burn anything!), we watched more Bosch and I finished the puzzle (too easy or too much time on my hands?!?)
