Thursday 11 September

After spending an hour or so trying to get the Banjo’s Odyssey blog a bit more up to date, I decided to feed my Fitbit some extra steps by taking Summer for a walk down to the ferry jetty at the end of Beach Haven Road. We stared at a cat, admired some flowers, walked along the jetty, met the pilot of the Auckland Jet Boat, wandered along the small beach to the point, staggered back up loads of steps and wended our way home to Mairi in the morning sunshine ☀️

Meanwhile Louis had been having coffee and a catch up with Jono Sawyer who is an amazing drummer who has recorded drums for many of his clients at Ellamy Studios.

After a quick change for me we headed over the Harbour Bridge to take Helen out for lunch at Kreem and over to Pak’n’save to do her weekly shop. I got to do my artistic bit, painting in her book of inspirational quotes then we headed back as Amy was meeting us in Beach Haven to come & see Dilligas 🐈‍⬛

Spent a fun afternoon & evening with her - Dilligas smooching, meeting Summer, taking her walkies, joining us for a FODMAP friendly dinner (mostly BYO), giggling at and with the kids, catching up with Mairi & Tim and playing Flip7 - awesome card game!
