Another recovery day - cats, dogs, op shops and lovely friends

Louis was still not feeling super great and Lily was definitely off kilter so it was mostly a chill out day.

Mairi, Lily & I walked Finn up to his childminder Jodie and met Pohutukawa the young goldie & Mog the old lab there ❤️ then had smooches with a chonky black cat on the way home. 🐈‍⬛

Good to see that Hugh Grant's ex, Vanessa Kensington the Fembot, is keeping herself busy these days...

Later, Lily, Mairi & I went into Birkenhead with a shopping list and came home several op shops later with far too many cheeky finds as well as our intentional purchases.

Louis was still feeling rather uncomfortable so we chilled a bit, tried to convince Summer that Mairi had not left her forever, then Lily came for an evening walk with us around the park - when we heard a gentle “Hello!” and turned to see Andrea and her two vizslas - we’d not realised that the Cockers lived so close by!

Hallowe'en arrived early in Beach Haven as one of our op shop purchases was a black lace veil for Lily's 2025 outfit, so both kids were running around in skeleton costumes all evening! Finn Bones and I had some lovely snuggles and then Dilligas popped up from the bedroom for a rare visit. Dr Tim treated Louis with Irish whiskey and Dr Mairi slapped a TENS machine on his back and we had a lovely evening hanging out with them 🥰
