A Quiet Day in Beach Haven

A lazy day with random weather. We did a couple of Banjo chores and finally got around to applying our new Banjo’s Odyssey decal to the outside of the van - yay! We think we got it straight, but as the van is on a bit of a tilt at present, we may not be so impressed with our accuracy once we are on the flat!

Summer has proved to be quite a Houdini so Mairi and I set to work on escape-proofing the hedge line. Finn was keen to assist too , but 3 year olds and chainsaws are not an ideal combo so we sent him to look after Louis 😉
Took a walk to the local shops to get Louis a blood test, check out the cool water fountain pipeworks for dogs and have a nosey at house prices, then got lured by the delicious aromas from Kebabylon where we ordered amazing huge hamburgers for lunch - oops! 🍔 🍔
Got on with more admin, had a siesta, stocked up with a supermarket shop, walked round the local park (2.5km - Louis’ longest walk yet) and cooked chilli lime chicken tortillas for dinner in Banjo. All in all a fairly dull but useful day.
